Chisa's Wuthering Waves 3D Model Has Mind-Blowing Number Of Bones

VRChat enthusiast known on X/Twitter as minimi_rc shared a close-up look at a 3D model of Chisa from Wuthering Waves, revealing a rig packed with an insane number of bones. Nearly everything, from the hair to the clothing, has ultra-detailed physics.
And yes, this is an official one published on Aplaybox, a Chinese website for sharing 3D models:
minimi_rc then showed off more crazy official rigs they had discovered while examining 3D models for rig references when creating avatars. All of these characters have complex costumes and dangling parts, each packed with a massive number of bones.
However, they appear to be MMD models, which means their structure might differ from actual game models. Well, whether they're MMD or not, the number of bones and the level of detail remain impressive:
