Cinematic Action Scene Made with Photoscanned Assets & Unreal Engine 5

Alireza Fattahi shared a fantastic movie-like work.

Cinematic animation director Alireza Fattahi has demonstrated an impressive realistic scene, set up using photogrammetry and Unreal Engine 5.

Fattahi found some great photoscanned objects, including a soldier pack by Bogdan Zhukov, and turned to animator Navid Tanzifian for help with motion capture and artist Ali Amirian, who assisted him with the cloth and debris simulation.

"Whenever I stumble upon cool photoscanned assets, I just have to turn them into something fun. Found some awesome models on Sketchfab, and ended up creating a chill random action scene in Unreal."

Their collaboration resulted in this awesome action-filled sequence that will go to Fattahi's already diverse portfolio. The director has worked on Batman: Gotham Renegade, Ghost Runner 2, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, and other projects. You can see some of his works on ArtStation and X/Twitter.

You might also remember his beautiful Batman cinematics, which appeared on our pages last year.
