Dark Forces is evidently beloved by players as just last year a fan released their own remastered version of the shooter, which included a mod loader, high resolution and widescreen support, GPU renderer with perspective correct pitch, and more.
There was also an Unreal Engine 4 remake developed by Obsidian’s Senior Environment Artist Jason Lewis as well as a VR version.
In addition to the Star Wars game, Nightdive is remastering Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion, a 2000 title by Acclaim Studios. You can wishlist it on Steam.
