Cliff Bleszinski Would Like to Resurrect LawBreakers

The rights to the game belong to Nexon though.

Two weeks ago, Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski hinted at upcoming LawBreakers news. In a recent tweet, he revealed his desire to resurrect the game. However, the plan is hindered by the fact that Nexon has the rights to the shooter.

Bleszinski wants to talk about LawBreakers' comeback with Nexon's CEO Owen Mahoney, so who knows, we might see the game sooner than expected.

Interestingly, Bleszinski expressed his unwillingness to actually develop the game, saying he was "over the whole making games thing": "But if a 3rd party wants to resurrect it with Nexon I'm down for consulting."

LawBreakers was a first-person shooter released in 2017 but closed a year after due to a low number of players despite pretty positive reviews: for example, it got a 76 Metascore on Metacritic.
