You can add several lighting sources and customize them.
Have a look at ClipDrop's new relighting feature, which allows you to easily add lighting sources and change their color, position, radius, and intensity. The tool's AI helps make pictures look natural and takes into account the objects' features to cast plausible shadows.
You can also remove the background thanks to ClipDrop Background Remover, relight only the foreground objects, only the background, or the whole image, and more. There are options to change ambient light and lighting bulbs, the latter can be moved all around the picture, in three dimensions.
To create believable lighting, the app makes use of depth maps and surface normals. Once accurate depth and surface normal maps are predicted, they can be used to compute the illumination by common reflection models such as Lambertian or Phong. You can learn more about the technical side of the tool in this blog post.
ClipDrop Relight is available for free with limitations, the Pro version costs $5/month for an annual subscription or $9/month for a monthly one.
