inXile entertainment, a game development studio behind Wasteland 2 and 3, has unveiled Clockwork Revolution, an upcoming steampunk RPG with dynamic time-bending combat and intricate roleplaying systems
The project is led by Game Director Chad Moore and Principal Designer Jason Anderson, who worked on Arcanum. Set in a steampunk-style Victorian-era metropolis of Avalon, the game equips you with a neat time-traveling device, which enables you to travel back in time, choose how to influence the past, and then return to the present to experience the effects of your decisions. According to the developers, the game is coming to PC and Xbox Series X/S and is currently at its earliest stages of development.
