Co-op "Walker-Talker" from Developers of Untitled Goose Game Is Coming in August
Help your friends explore this wide-open world of Big Walk or make it as hard for them as possible.
House House
Big Walk is a co-op game where you, well, have a big walk with friends. What you need to know about it is that it was created by the developers of Untitled Goose Game, so expect a lot of humor and hilarious situations.
The vast world of this "cooperative online walker-talker" offers exciting challenges, puzzles, and discoveries, but most of all – a great time with your favorite people.
"You’ll need to work together to find your way around, stay in contact using an assortment of tools and toys, and figure out new ways to communicate when you suddenly find yourself speechless."

If your friends are anything like mine, then you'll love the ability to kick them into the ocean and play pranks. After you're done horsing around, take a break by watching the sunset and enjoying the camaraderie.
The game supports 2 to 12 players in a session from different platforms (it will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2). Despite its seemingly endless world, it has an ending, so be sure to stick around and deepen your friendship.

Developers from House House were "inspired" by COVID-19 lockdowns and have spent 6 years working on Big Walk. They didn't expect it to take this long, but now, in the middle of the co-op boom, the title is ready to compete with Lethal Company, Repo, Flock Around, and Peak, on August 4.
"Big Walk is a relatively quiet game in some regards; there's so much kind of downtime and empty space, and we didn't want to have loud audience voices overwhelming the way we were thinking about it."
But there's definitely something to do there: "You can talk to each other and then sometimes you can't talk to each other. And I know that's really exciting in [Big Walk] and leads to all these interesting situations where you have to mime or use a whiteboard to talk. It's really cool to do that in a video game, but it sounds so boring when you say it out loud," Stuart Gillespie-Cook, one of the developers, said.
House House
Big Walk is a long-form open-world adventure, which is quite different from what we're used to seeing in the genre, but I imagine it won't be everyone's cup of tea. The team believes that, despite the popularity of so-called "friendslop," their game is a "unique take on what it means to have a proximity chat-focused game."
For example, one player has a code and needs to relay it through a window that reduces their voice to a whisper, and the listener then runs to pass the code to the next person. Such challenges become even more fun with a large group of friends.

But if you don't have many people to share the experience with (I mean, who does in this economy?), there are different modes that adjust the puzzles according to the number of players: two, three, and four-plus.
So, you have until August to find friends to play the game with. Good luck!
