The Walking Dead: Betrayal players will get a refund.
If you were planning to kill some zombies together with your friends in The Walking Dead: Betrayal, you're about to be disappointed. After only three months, the co-op survival game is getting closed. As the developer Other Ocean Interactive and the publisher Skybound Games mentioned on Steam, the companies failed to attract enough attention to keep going.
"After considering a variety of paths forward, and with a great deal of discussion and reflection, Skybound Games and Other Ocean Interactive have decided to stop development on The Walking Dead: Betrayal. Despite the hard work put into the game, we were not able to find a path to build the spirited community of backstabbers we originally envisioned."

The game will be removed from the platform on December 15 and all players will get a full refund.
The Walking Dead: Betrayal is a "game of cooperation and social deception", released in Early Access on September 14. You need to work together to survive and keep an eye on traitors who are ready to stab you once your guard is down.
Betrayal couldn't capture the attention the developers hoped for, and the title currently has 113 "mixed" reviews.

Other Ocean Interactive is also behind several other games, including Project Winter – a similar concept that was once popular among streamers. Maybe that's the problem with Betrayal: one idea just couldn't shoot twice, at least from the same team.

This is not the only unfortunate Walking Dead game: last month, players were shocked by a "Gollum-like" title from Flux Games. The Walking Dead: Destinies lets you "change the course of AMC’s The Walking Dead history," but it is not enough for people to like it.
