ConjureSDF To Receive Blender 4.3 Support

See what João Desager's modeling add-on has in store for next year.

Technical Artist and Developer João Desager, known as the creator of Miter Box, is continuing his work on ConjureSDF, a new Blender add-on offering non-destructive tools that enable you to create perfectly smooth shapes with ease.

Although ConjureSDF is still in its alpha stage, with some missing features, bugs, and crashes, and currently supports Blender 3.3 (with limited support for 3.6), the developer has shared a couple of demos outlining his plans for the upcoming 4.3 upgrade. It looks like next year, the add-on will finally include macOS support, along with a triangle-based rendering engine as part of a new rendering API:

In the meantime, João Desager is delivering smaller, regular updates, with the most recent ConjureSDF 0.2.3 released just yesterday. This update mainly addresses a few key bugs, including those related to the scene upgrade, among other fixes.

"Next up, Blender 4.0+ support (for real this time)", commented the developer.
