Mamoru Kano's latest addition to Otoshi no Shima.
Designer and Game Developer Mamoru Kano has impressed us once again, this time, with an animation of a snake slithering through a swamp and coiling around itself. The animation is likely made for Otoshi no Shima, an upcoming indie game inspired by the folklore of Japan's Tohoku region. We will probably see the serpent as an enemy when the project arrives.
Kano created an Alembic file and imported it as a geometry cache, according to his X/Twitter post. As a result, we can enjoy some smooth movement with the snake chasing the player and then tying itself in a knot. It's not the first time we've seen the creature: last year, the artist showed it appearing from the water.

Earlier, Kano also demonstrated some progress demos full of beautiful landscapes and eerie creatures.
