Coraline Meets Over the Garden Wall in This Co-Op Horror with Voice Chat Mechanic
Explore the spooky forest with your friends and be careful: your voice not only helps you communicate but might also attract danger.
Check out this beautiful stylized horror co-op with graphics and eerie vibes reminiscent of Coraline. Voidwood, developed and published by Santa Barbara Games, is a perfect experience for horror fans, twisted with a fairytale atmosphere.
In a 1-4 player co-op, you play as children trapped in a dark, scary forest, just like in a beloved autumn-themed animated series, Over the Garden Wall. You try to survive and escape. Daylight is peaceful, and you can scavenge for supplies, venture farther into the forest, and prepare for the night. And after the sun sets, The Beast is on the hunt, following you and tracking your every sound.

The task is to get out alive, bring your haul to camp, craft tools, explore new paths, and make it out of the eerie woods. Each night, the rules change, and a plan that worked once isn't guaranteed to work again.
The gameplay features 20-minute survival runs. Your voice and sounds are part of the game: it uses a proximity voice chat mechanic, where communication can be as useful as it is dangerous. You need to warn your friends and whisper when The Beast is close – sounds can help you but also give you away, so make sure not to make much noise at the wrong moment.
