Corebreaker: An Upcoming Pixel Art Platformer Inspired by Mega Man

The game is being developed by aQuadiun, the creators of Galaxy Champions TV, using Unity.

In this day and age, it might be extremely difficult for some to find a high-quality old-school platformer that would allow one to re-experience the thrill of excitement everyone felt all those years ago playing Nintendo and SEGA's classics. Luckily, developers from a small indie game studio aQuadiun, known for its Galaxy Champions TV, have us all covered here with their amazing upcoming action platformer – Corebreaker.

Inspired by Mega Man, Corebreaker is a WiP title that plans to combine classical action platformer elements with those of roguelike games. According to the game's Lead Developer Marcel Omori, Corebreaker is being developed using Unity and will feature tons of weapons, enemies, and available playstyles, as well as stylized pixel art graphics, further conveying the nostalgic feeling.
