Now available for the new Procedural Vegetation Editor.
With the launch of Unreal Engine 5.7, the PCG framework is now production-ready, delivering plenty of enhancements that make it easier to craft unique, large-scale worlds. Built on this powerful framework, the Procedural Vegetation Editor lets you create and customize high-quality vegetation assets directly in the engine.
In this initial experimental release, you can use the PVE with the new Quixel Megaplants assets, now available on Fab and ready to download directly into your Content Browser. The first collection includes five distinct species, each offering multiple sizes and structure variations: Black Alder, Norway Maple Forest, Common Hazel, European Aspen, and European Beech.

Each Megaplant comes with editable presets, allowing you to make your own variations directly within the graph, and they also support Nanite Foliage workflows for high-performance rendering. According to Epic Games, future updates will bring hundreds of ready-made vegetation assets, from trees and shrubs to grasses.
