If you're a fan of tactical RPG games with some retro charm, you might want to check out Kriegsfront Tactics. Developed by indie game studio Toge Productions, this game offers a unique blend of "classic tactical strategy RPG games, roguelikes, and lowpoly retro-style visuals."

The setting is an alternate 1970s, during a conflict in Southeast Asia. You'll take on the role of a mecha squad commander dispatched behind enemy lines. Your mission involves managing your squad, resources, and mechs while tackling missions that test your morality.

One of the highlights of Kriegsfront Tactics is the intense cinematic combat. The sight of metal clashing against metal in the battlefield is nothing short of spectacular. The game also offers a mech customization system, where you can alter "your mech’s livery, salvage or swap parts, and equip weapons."

Kriegsfront Tactics - Prologue is the prologue chapter of the game, free to play, and it's set to launch on July 18th. It will be a good chance "to experience combat, exploration, and the opening story of the game." Also, the game's demo is available on Steam.
