From smooth combat encounters and boss fights to fishing and petting cats – this game seems to have it all.
Pearl Abyss, a Korean video game developer and publisher known primarily as the creator of the cross-platform MMORPG Black Desert, has shared an official gameplay trailer for their open-world action RPG Crimson Desert gamescom 2023: Opening Night Live, re-revealing the game and confirming that the project hasn't been canceled after all.
For those unaware, Crimson Desert was first announced all the way back in 2019 alongside Plan 8 and DokeV, two other IPs by Pearl Abyss. In 2021, however, the developer delayed the project indefinitely, prompting many to believe that the RPG was canceled altogether.

Proving that it, in fact, wasn't, the devs presented a new lengthy trailer, demonstrating the title's impressive gameplay mechanics, visual style, game world, VFX, animations, and more. If the trailer is to be believed, the upcoming game will feature a ton of things for the player to do, including smooth combat encounters, epic boss fights, the ability to fish, pet cats and dogs, steal horse cars, carry sheep, fly on a hot air balloon, ride horses, use spells, and much, much more.
