Crimson Desert Sold 6 Million Copies in 3 Months
You can join its Community Challenge to celebrate.
Crimson Desert was all the rage when it came out in March, selling 5 million units in just one month, and now, another million copies have joined the stats.
"Your adventures and tales continue to make the journey of Crimson Desert even more special. Once again, thank you to every Greymane who has stepped into Pywel and experienced the world of Crimson Desert in their own way," said the developer, Pearl Abyss.
If you want to celebrate the occasion, you can join the Beyond the Abyss: Community Challenge, a video contest where you can share your journey.
The topic doesn't matter, but you are limited to 3 minutes. Upload the video on social media with hashtags #CrimsonDesert and #BeyondTheAbyss and fill out the Submission Survey before July 12.
- Submissions will be evaluated based on visual and editing quality, and creativity.
- Short-form entries must be under 1 minute, and long-form entries must be between 1 and 3 minutes.
- Only videos composed of actual in-game footage are allowed. Animations, 3D animations, or cartoon-style videos are not eligible.
- When using background music, please note that copyrighted content may result in removal, muting, or monetization restrictions on the platform. We therefore recommend using officially licensed music or original compositions whenever possible.
- Multiple submissions are allowed; however, rewards will not be granted multiple times per participant.
10 winners will be selected by the Crimson Desert studio – 6 long-form entries and 4 short-form entries – who will get a fully sponsored invitation to visit the Pearl Abyss Korea HQ, including round-trip airfare and 3 days of accommodation, a Crimson Desert commemorative golden coin, and special merch.
