Cute Skateboarding Animation in Toon Style
Boris Klimov brought Dmytro Danylov's character to life.
Have a look at this adorable skateboarding animation created by talented artists Dmytro Danylov and Boris Klimov. Danylov designed the character, while Klimov breathed life into it using Maya's animation capabilities.
With this project, Danylov wanted to experiment with shading, rendering, and compositing, aiming for a hand-drawn effect. The textures were done in Substance 3D Painter, with some water effects hand-drawn in TVPaint, the renders were created using Redshift and the Flair renderer, and compositing was done in Nuke.
