Dark Souls 3 Overhaul Mod Developer Shows Off New Gameplay on Steam Deck

Have you heard of Archthrones? If you're a Dark Souls fan craving more content in your favorite universe, you should check out this overhaul mod for the third installment in the series, changing the game "on a scale never seen before." Before getting into it, watch the latest gameplay video showing one of its locations, High Lord's Temple, running on Steam Deck.

You'll see the rich interiors of the temple, vast deserts outside, and various fights with ghost enemies.

Archthrones has been in development for nearly 4 years now. It offers an alternate story taking place across five unique worlds before the events of Dark Souls 3. The developers reuse assets from all the games in the franchise to make this adventure unforgettable.
