Dave The Diver Is Coming to Nintendo Switch In October

The news was shared during the latest Nintendo Direct.

Dave the Diver is a casual single-player adventure RPG that immerses players in aquatic exploration, where they can fish during the day and deal with the sushi restaurant business at night. In addition, the game offers an element of mystery as Dave embarks on a journey to uncover the secrets hidden beneath the water's depths. Dave the Diver was developed by Mintrocket Studios, and fully launched on June 28, 2023.

A few months ago, we wrote an article about the game's success when it surpassed 1 million copies, if you've missed it, you can find it here.

The game is available for PC and macOS players, and starting October 26, 2023, the game will also come to the Nintendo Switch, as it was announced during the Nintendo Direct.

"We're over the moon seeing and hearing the reception to our first game. Bringing this to the Switch community has been an important goal for us as we think the console is a home where the players will truly appreciate everything Dave the Diver has to offer," says Jaeho Hwang, the Game Director.

On October 26, 2023, players can digitally purchase this nautical adventure for $19,99, but as for now, you can make pre-orders on the eShop and try a free demo version.

Players who pre-order the game will be rewarded with bonuses. They will receive a special skin for Dave's boat, featuring a nostalgic 8-bit-themed design on the hull. Additionally, an exclusive lamp decoration for the sushi restaurant will be included, showcasing Dave in a charming retro style.
