Atomic Monster and Blumhouse are going to work with Behaviour Interactive on it.
Atomic Monster and Blumhouse are joining Behaviour Interactive to shoot a movie adaptation of Dead by Daylight.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to work with Jason Blum and James Wan, two giants of the horror film industry, to further expand the ‘Dead by Daylight’ universe,” said Stephen Mulrooney, executive vice president at Behaviour Interactive. “At Behaviour, our motto is to create unique moments, together, forever. Atomic Monster and Blumhouse are the ideal partners to craft ‘Dead by Daylight’s’ killer entrance onto the big screen.”
The creators are looking for a director and a screenwriter for the film, someone who "appreciates and loves the world as much as [they] do."
The project will be produced by Mulrooney, Atomic Monster CEO James Wan, and Blumhouse CEO Jason Blum. Behaviour Interactive’s Remi Racine; Atomic Monster’s Michael Clear and Judson Scott; Blumhouse’s Ryan Turek, and Striker Entertainment’s Russell Binder will be executive producers.
Blumhouse has produced horror films like Paranormal Activity, The Purge, and The Black Phone. Atomic Monster is known for The Conjuring Universe, Lights Out, and the Mortal Kombat adaptation.
