Dead Cells Receives Its Final Update
The 35th update, The End is Near, is already available.
Roguelite metroidvania-inspired action-platformer Dead Cells, developed by Motion Twin and Evil Empire, received the 35th update, The End is Near. The release features new mobs, weapons, mutations, and a new biome effect, as well as extra accessibility options and more. The update also brings new routing, allowing the players to go to both Return to Castlevania biomes in one run.
The new biome effect with the cursed mobs is risky and challenging, but it can bring extra rewards to players. If you don't want to take the risk, you can choose other biomes without the scary mobs. The update also has new monsters and novel weapons and mutations to protect from them. Besides, there are more than 40 options to customize the main character's appearance. The developers also state that they have introduced modifications to the game's weapons on the basis of the players' feedback.

The hit title Dead Cells is overwhelmingly popular and loved by the audience. Released in 2018, the game has over 130,000 reviews on Steam, 97% of which are positive. However, after a successful 5-year run, Evil Empire and Motion Twin have officially ended support of the game, so this update is the final one.
In April, Motion Twin showcased a gameplay video of its new project, Windblown, while Evil Empire announced its new title The Rogue Prince of Persia. Take a look at the trailers:
