Death Stranding-Inspired Scene Made in Unreal Engine 5

Pasquale Scionti has unveiled a new environment made with UE5 and Megascans assets.

Senior Lighting/Lookdev Artist at Ninja Theory Pasquale Scionti, known for creating breathtaking scenes in Unreal Engine, has unveiled a new environment inspired by Death Stranding's opening cinematic. The scene was created using Unreal Engine 5's Lumen and Nanite features and has high-quality 8K textures. According to the artist, all the assets used for this environment come from the Megascans library. To create an atmosphere similar to the original game, Pasquale used HDR lighting with Volumetric Fog.

This is not the first DS-inspired project made by the artist. Back in 2020, Pasquale showed another scene inspired by the game, but back then it was made in Unreal Engine 4. You can check it out over here.

We highly encourage you to visit the artist's ArtStation page to check out more amazing projects. Also, don't forget to join our new Reddit pageour new Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
