DeeKay Tool Light: Free Animation Rigging Tool for After Effects

DeeKay Kwon has released DeeKay Tool Light – a free version of the character rigging and animation tool for After Effects. The extension allows you to create and customize animations in a couple of clicks thanks to its intuitive controls.

"Education should be free for everyone," said the creator after dropping this version of what they call "the most flexible tool for rigging in After Effects" on Twitter.

"Deekay Tool Light is a versatile script for character animators. It contains functions for rigging characters and adjusting their appearance, workflow boosters and a bunch of secondary motion presets."

Its colorful cartoonish promo will warm you up to the idea of creating your own animation or at least trying your hand at the art.
