Lifetime sales for Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided have surpassed 12 million copies. The sales data was revealed during a live stream on the Embracer deal to acquire Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montréal, and Square Enix Montréal as well as a number of the studios' IPs.
The 12 million figure includes sales of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut, and its sequel, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
Apart from the total sales data for the last two parts of the Deus Ex series, the information on Deus Ex: The Fall and Deus Ex: GO was shown – by December 2021, the games reached more than 2 million paid mobile downloads. The titles also have an average rating of 83 out of 100 on Metacritic and 4.4 out of 5 on the AppStore.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution was first released in 2011 for Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. It is the third game in the Deus Ex series and a prequel to the original Deus Ex (2000). A paid DLC, Deus Ex: The Fall, was released in 2013, and the sequel, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, was released in 2016.
