Dev Shows Realistic Archaeology Mini-Game from Upcoming Dungeon Crawler

Check out lifelike textures and a compelling concept of Diviner.

Game Developer Feelblitz unveiled this setup with an archaeology mini-game for finding loot that they added to their upcoming dungeon crawler Diviner, set to release in 2027.

The developer explained that for the purpose of demonstrating the digging mini-game, they preplaced the item in a specific location, but in the actual mini-game, the task would be more complicated: if the red bar fills up all the way, the item is lost, and there is a 50% chance the player is forced into a combat encounter as an enemy can rise out of the dirt.

As for the placement of the items, they are placed procedurally around the area. According to the concept, 7/10 items the player can uncover rather easily, while the remaining 3/10 would be hard to disclose.

The dungeon crawler Diviner is a tactical RPG, in which you explore isometric dungeons and abandoned castles, tasked to revive a deceased ruler. You can create strategic builds in an inventory inspired by Resident Evil and engage in a first-person turn-based combat against a wide range of dreadful enemies.
