Developer of This PvPvPvE Horror Extraction Shooter Went to Swamp to Record Sounds for Game

See how they turned out in Beautiful Light.

Deep Worlds

Game development is no easy task and sometimes requires sacrifices, like spending time knee-high in the dirty water. True dedication showed Stepan Ustinov, one of the developers of Beautiful Light, a PvPvPvE tactical horror extraction shooter, by wading through the swamp to record the sounds for the game.

"Sometimes you have to get dirty!" the Deep Worlds studio mentioned and offered a look at how this work turned out in the gameplay.

If you're impressed with how far the creators can go for their "baby", you should check out the game itself. There, you can be a standard member of the Quick Reaction Force looking for an artifact or a monstrous anomaly that will kill them.

Keep an eye on your panic level, as it will affect how you handle your weapon. If you're not the monster, of course.

Enjoy 24-player matches with 6 squads of 3 operators and 6 monsters when Beautiful Light is out in December 2026.
