Developer Showed Off Some Cool Details in His Game

Erik Skog really cares about small things.

Attention to detail is a fantastic thing for any developer; finding tiny bits lovingly created by an artist is a fantastic feeling, but I bet it's even better to make this stuff. Animator Erik Skog has proven this theory by sharing his favorite details from his WIP game Light Corp.

Skog is also working on HASTE: Broken Worlds with Landfall, a team known for its wildly popular Content Warning and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. Landfall makes physics games, and Skog's showcase reflects this: traffic lights' signs spin when shot at, street poles fall dramatically, and railings break realistically.

My favorite part is the "bubble ASMR" with dynamic buoyancy: drowning barrels release air and make a very nice sound – simply fantastic.

This is only Part 1 of what will be a series of development videos, so follow Skog on X/Twitter if you wish to see more interesting decisions.
