Game Developer Pawel Szpiczakowski has recently shared a stunning demo showcasing an upcoming update for #DRIVE, an endless driving video game for Nintendo Switch, Android, and Apple devices powered by Unity.
Inspired by action movies from the '70s and '80s, #DRIVE offers a simple yet captivating gameplay experience, allowing players to choose a car and a map and simply drive forward while enjoying the visually appealing low-poly surroundings and making sure not to hit anything else.
In the recent demo, Pawel provided a sneak peek at the forthcoming game update, highlighting enhanced physics, an upgraded environment, new weather effects, and brand-new lighting that players will be able to experience in the near future. Furthermore, the developer also commented on the team's decision to utilize a custom raycasting-based car controller instead of Unity's standard wheel collider.
