The team has accumulated $44,000 in just two days.
Last year, Mersis, a team of experienced developers, had announced QuestHaven, a fantastic VR tabletop simulator, powered by Unity. QuestHaven was promised to become a perfect environment/toolset that would allow you to play VR tabletop games your way. So, regardless of the system you want to play (D&D, Pathfinder, etc), QuestHaven was promised to provide you and your friends with the tools needed for a great adventure.
"We're using Synty assets for graphics, among other low poly. There is also a dungeon creator, crossplay between PC&VR, character creator, etc," commented one of the developers known as NotNoxDev.
Back then, the team also announced that they were planning to launch a Kickstarter campaign. And now, a few months after the initial announcement, the campaign is live. It was launched on March 22, 2022, and has already accumulated $44,000 out of $50,000 requested by the team. You can support the toolset and check out the backers' rewards by clicking this link.
And here's the list of things the team promises you'll be able to do in their upcoming game:
- Build and track your character.
- Defeat your enemies with the role of a dice.
- Design deadly maps to challenge your players.
- Fill your dungeons with hordes of enemies.
- Play god: Sculpt mountains, control weather set the time of day.
- Set the mood: control music, and environmental sounds.
- Take over your figure and roleplay.
- Move your figure with the help of a grid, hex, or freely.
