Director Michael Bay is Working on a Skibidi Toilet Film Adaptation

No cap? Sheesh!

Proving that even the most brilliant minds of our era can contract and be affected by Gen Alpha brainrot, Paramount Pictures' former President Adam Goodman has revealed that he and the legendary movie director Michael Bay are working on a film and/or TV adaptation of Skibidi Toilet, a series of nonsensical, SFM-made meme videos produced by the "DaFuq!?Boom!" YouTube channel.

Speaking to Variety, Goodman confirmed discussions with Alexey Gerasimov, the creator of the series, about bringing Skibidi Toilet to television and the big screen, suggesting that a show about human heads poking from toilets and urinals could be the next Transformers or MCU. Additionally, Goodman mentioned that the team is considering a hybrid animated/live-action adaptation of Skibidi Toilet, aiming for a style reminiscent of John Wick and District 9.

"If we find a partner in this that really believes there's an opportunity for this to grow and to really see the storytelling grow and for this to be where we hope this can be, then film and TV seems like a natural extension for us," Goodman said in the interview. "We are absolutely in talks right now, both on the television side and the earliest conversations right now on the film side. But it's not a be-all, end-all for us.'

While the notion of one of the most acclaimed directors working on a TV adaptation of Skibidi Toilet of all things might sound utterly insane, it's not entirely surprising given the series' immense popularity and the lucrative opportunities it presents through cross-media adaptations and merchandise sales. Most likely, what is essentially modern-era YTP won't become the next MCU, but it is indeed not outside the realm of possibility for Skibidi to generate similar profits for Gerasimov, Bay, and Goodman.

Coming up next: DreamWorks borrowing ideas from "Shrek is Love, Shrek is Life", a "Heavy is Dead" Broadway musical, and a live-action adaptation of "Emesis Blue" (alright, maybe that last one does sound like a good idea).
