Don't Sink In This Challenging Co-Op Boating Game Made With UE

Boat Together is scheduled to be released in Q2 this year.

Reddit user eymentopcu, also known as indie developer Beaked Games, is developing a cooperative boat-riding game with Unreal Engine. They recently announced the exciting news that the game now has received a Steam page.

A video has been uploaded to give us a glimpse of the gameplay, showcasing both the core mechanics and some hilarious failures that make me wishlist it immediately:

Like other co-op games, cooperation is key to passing through challenging levels in Wipeout-style Boat Together. Work with up to eight friends to paddle through cool waters and overcome obstacles and bosses. Navigate through dangerous paths while exploring the islands with different biomes. Each new biome provides a unique experience, and the next island will always be more challenging. The fun-filled journey is one based on paddling and water physics, which require precise control of your boat.

The game offers a variety of boats, including a single-person kayak, a two-person kayak, a four-person boat, and a two-person jet ski. Bigger boats are harder to control, so it is better to work with friends. But if you’d like to start a solo journey, a single-person kayak and jet ski are available to take. Besides, you can customize both the character and the boat with different colors.

Boat Together is set to launch in the second quarter of this year. Over the next few months, the developer will refine the game and work on features like local co-op mode. Be sure to add it to your wishlist on Steam to receive notifications when it is released.
