LogInMo Gamal is sharing his project for free.
In shaping the art direction, this demon character was envisioned to resemble a Death Eater from Harry Potter crossed with Death Harvest. Senior FX Artist Mo Gamal was also responsible for creating elements like smoke and cloth to be integrated into any animation featuring the demon in the music video it was designed for.
For animation, the artist used Mixamo and then adjusted it in Houdini to ensure it matched the intended vision. The cloth simulation was done with vellum and smoke using Axiom Solver, and the project was finalized with Redshift and Nuke.
