Resolution Games is teaming up with Wizards of the Coast to make it happen.

Dungeons and Dragons fans, grab your VR headsets because your favorite game is officially coming to the virtual space thanks to the collaboration between Resolution Games and Wizards of the Coast.

I'm sure you know Wizards of the Coast as it owns the rights to D&D. As for Resolution Games, it's a Vr- and Ar-focused studio that has created Demeo, a tabletop RPG dungeon crawler for up to four players.

"As anyone who’s played Demeo can guess, we’re incredibly huge fans of tabletop roleplaying games," Resolution Games CEO Tommy Palm said (via PC Gamer).

"Dungeons and Dragons offers one of the richest fantasy worlds that has ever been created, and it only gets bigger with every new sourcebook and adventure. We’re beyond humbled to have the opportunity to work with such an incredible IP and look forward to sharing the first details of this new project in the future."

Unfortunately, neither company provided any other information about the game, but apparently, Resolution Games "has a clear understanding of how to bring players together and capture the fun of tabletop gaming on digital platforms in an accessible way."

Hopefully, this release will attract more players to D&D, as Baldur's Gate 3 did, showing those hesitating that it's not as hard as they might believe. I'm not sure how it's going to look in VR, but let's see what Resolution Games has in mind.
