The game sold twice as many games as Horizon Forbidden West, which got second place.
February was rich with new video games, including Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, and Dying Light 2. Overall, 2.4 million digital and physical video games, 93,000 consoles, and over 600,000 accessories were sold in the UK in February 2022.
The best results of last month showed Elden Ring; it is the fastest-selling new game since The Division in 2016. Elden Ring sold twice as many games as the second-place Horizon Forbidden West.
Meanwhile, Dying Light 2: Stay Human got only 6th place. It might have charted higher, but digital data is unavailable for this game.

This February, 1.46 million games sold were digital downloads, it's 17% less than in the same period last year. Physical game sales reached over 900,000 units – a drop of 9% compared with February 2021.
As for consoles, 93,000 units were sold last month, which is a drop of 24% over January. The best-selling console was Nintendo Switch, even though its sales are down by over 30% compared to the same period the year before.
