Rejoice, Tarnished, as the work is not done yet: an expansion for Elden Ring called Shadow of the Erdtree is currently in development, according to the game's official Twitter account.
"We hope you look forward to new adventures in the Lands Between," reads the tweet.
The developers haven't revealed the release date or any details, so stay tuned.
Elden Ring launched a year ago, on February 25, and immediately became extremely popular, joining the line of FromSoftware's legendarily hard games. So unquestionable was its fame that probably no one was surprised when it got the Game of the year award at The Game Awards, Golden Joystick Awards, and The Steam Awards.
