Emotional Systemic Facial System for Last of Us Part II

Animator Keith Paciello shared a reel showcasing his work with an emotional systemic facial system for Last of Us Part II.

Describing his approach to its creation, he mentioned that the goal was to push the players' immersion even more. The system covered the bigger part of in-game facial, supporting idles, automatic speech, melee, and breathing.

The Last of Us Part II was released on June 19 and quickly become the fastest-selling PS4 game with over 4 million copies sold during the first days after the release.
