Engineer Dissects Landscapes & Moves Them with Her Fingers

Kat Zhang, the talented multidisciplinary artist also known as The Poet Engineer, has presented a new fantastic experiment that won't leave you unaffected.

This time, she demonstrated navigating a layered landscape with her hands. She split the projection by spreading her hands and then "walked" across the land by moving her finger.

As with her other projects, this one was created using the visual development platform TouchDesigner and Torin Blankensmith's MediaPipe plug-in for hand tracking.
