Enjoy Creative & Messy Fun as a Cute Spider in A Webbing Journey

Toast bread slices, clean dishes, water plants, or get slammed by fan blades — this physics-based sandbox game gets you busy.

Fire Totem Games, an Austrian game development studio, has showcased some amazing footage from their project, a new physics-based sandbox game that invites you to step into the shoes — or rather, the many legs — of a tiny spider named Silky. The game is called A Webbing Journey.

A Webbing Journey

In this unique adventure, you, as a spider, get to explore a giant house, swing through each room, build complex webs, and even help your human roommates with oversized chores. The goal is to maintain a tidy home in creative and fun ways, all while using your powerful tool — silk.

The game offers customizable options so you can personalize Silky’s appearance with various outfits. As you explore, remember that you have the ability of climbing on any surface (even upside-down and underwater), as well as interacting with hundreds of physics objects within the house. It also features responsive web-swinging mechanics, allowing you to traverse the house with ease. There are seven distinct rooms to explore, each with hidden secrets to discover.

We are able to learn more about the game's mechanics and gameplay via the footage shared by the developer:

Fire Totem Games is set to launch A Webbing Journey soon, but for those eager to experience the game, a demo version is already available on Steam. Don't forget to add the game to your wishlist if you enjoy playing the demo. We also recommend you follow the developer on Twitter to be informed of more updates regarding the game.
