Watching Venom swallow a puny human is always fun, especially when the action is made smooth in 3D, like what Jayden Welch did in his new animation.
He says it took "many many many blend shapes," but the result is truly impressive – thanks to his talent and Maya.
"I got inspired by a shot in one of the Venom trailers for the transformation effect, with the teeth slowly curling onto his face. Then the line I chose is also from the movie, thought it worked perfectly for a short animated scene."
The Venom rig was taken from AmazingAnimation on Gumroad, the character inside – from Ramon Arango, and Welch worked his magic to make the whole thing shine even more.
