A fact even more horrible than the game’s genre is that there is no save point throughout the whole game, and a single mistake could bring you back to where everything starts.
Have you ever imagined a game in the horror genre that combines platforming elements and makes you play the role of a cat would look like? Now, a new game has given it a try, and it turned out that these factors could bring some refreshing experiences.
Fancysquare’s horror game NABI is a precision platformer where you jump up to escape from a deep abyss from the perspective of a cat. Control Nabi, the cat, with your mouse simply by clicking the left button to decide where it should jump. The longer you press it, the more power Nabi gets to jump higher.

There will be three major experiences from the game: jump control, ambient sound, and horror jump. Precision control is the key, and be careful to decide where to land; the binaural sound-mixed ambient noises make you feel the real world of being a real cat exploring a gloomy environment, which is said to be “a horror even for demons.” The jump horror mixes different kinds of fears - fears of failing before the leap, of jumpscares after the leaf, and horror elements after landing. Imagine that after a careful jump, you finally exhale deeply, but what awaits is not a peaceful new area; instead, you face bizarre and creepy creatures.

A fact even more horrible than the game’s genre is that there is no save point throughout the whole game, and a single mistake could bring you back to where everything starts. Rage and frustration alert. Some players take this game as a good chance for anger management, similar to what you have experienced in titles like Getting Over It.
NABI is now available with a 10% discount on Steam that lasts until December 25. If you’d like to have a unique horror experience in a cat’s view, don’t hesitate to grab it.
