Experience Cinema Hall Powered By Unreal Engine 5.5's MegaLights

A secret area in the upcoming Ragdoll Physics Experiments game.

Resembling a museum room with video art powered by Unreal Engine 5's latest major feature, MegaLights, this technology is a key reason why Giraffe Head Studios chose to include this area in the game. In this setup, the video is used as the source texture for the Rect Light, allowing the actual video to serve as the light's output.

It's still a work in progress, but the developer has shared that you'll be able to choose from any of the 10 animations to play on the big screen. Additionally, there will be hidden easter eggs scattered throughout the main level for you to discover.

Giraffe Head Studios is working on RMF's Ragdoll Physics Experiments based on the YouTube series of the same name, a first-person sandbox built for ultimate creative freedom and ridiculous fun with ragdolls. If you're interested in learning more or getting involved, visit the project's Kickstarter page.

If you'd like to see more of the project, there's an entire devlog series that will soon be updated with the MegaLights-powered area:
