Faceware Technologies Introduces Faceware Portal

Faceware Technologies has presented Faceware Portal – an AI-powered service that automatically captures facial movements with frame accuracy using neural net processing to then use the animation data in other projects. The goal behind the tool was to "eliminate the most time-consuming part of [the] workflow: manual facial tracking."

Faceware Portal outputs FWR files and JSON files. The JSON direct data format will allow you to bypass Retargeting and go straight to animation in DCC software like Unreal Engine, Maya, and Unity.

Faceware Technologies is offering the new service to enterprise clients only for now. You can see the tool in action on October 21 and October 28. You can find the information here.
