Just a little over a week ago, we told you that Mediatonic's platform battle royale Fall Guys amassed 20 million players within just 48 hours since its free-to-play launch. And now, the developers shared a new huge milestone.
Mediatonic took to Twitter to reveal that Fall Guys now has 50 million players. The game managed to reach this result just two weeks after it was re-released as a free-to-play title.
These impressive figures are largely due to the game's new model as, for the first time, everyone can access it for free. Moreover, it also became available on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles. These two moves to lower the game's barrier of entry became the major keys to Fall Guys hitting such a large player number.
Fall Guys transferred to the free-to-play model on June 20th, 2022. The game is available for PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices via Google Play or AppStore.
