Fallout is Coming to Fortnite

The arrival of Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked has been announced for May 24 and is cited to come "courtesy of the Brotherhood of Steel".

Fortnite has been socially active recently. Just last week, Lofi Girl, known for their popular lo-fi hip-hop YouTube radio, teased an unexpected crossover with the debut of their first official Lofi Girl Fortnite exploration map. Now, Bethesda's beloved Fallout RPG is gearing up to join forces with Fortnite's Battle Royale.

The official Fortnite Twitter account's post, hinting at the inclusion of power armor, features an image of a figure in a Brotherhood of Steel power armor helmet. Although the post doesn't provide any text about crossover details, it is complemented with two emojis: a wink face and a thumbs-up, both iconic to Vault Boy:

You can imagine how much excitement has been brought by this announcement to the community.

The Fallout series has experienced a resurgence of popularity recently, thanks largely to the success of its TV series on Amazon. The show has quickly climbed the ranks to become one of Amazon's most-watched shows, stimulating renewed interest in the Fallout games. This resurgence was highlighted by SteamDB (via Eurogamer), which reported a doubling of concurrent Fallout players on Steam following the TV series release.
