"The past four years of our work stands to just simply break."
The launch of Fallout: London, a much-anticipated modification for Fallout 4, has been postponed from its initial April 23 date. The team behind the project, Team FOLON, made the announcement in a recent video, citing critical compatibility issues with the next-gen update of Fallout 4, to be launched on April 25, as the reason for the delay.
Fallout: London, a significant extension of Bethesda's Fallout 4, promises to provide players with an exciting new chapter to explore. The mod sets itself apart from previous iterations in the franchise, which were set in America.
As the name hints, Fallout: London transports players to a novel European context, offering them a deep dive into pre-war European history and presenting the profound impact of the Resource Wars on pre-war Britain's class-based society.
The project, which has been four years in the making, has generated considerable interest. An official trailer was released in 2022, providing a glimpse into the scale and ambition of this project. As we reported last year, the mod even features the voice actor for Astarion from Baldur's Gate 3.

The Fallout: London mod, due to its substantial file size, will not be hosted on Nexus Mods. The video announcement confirmed that the mod would instead be available for download on GOG, a renowned platform for game downloads, once it becomes available.
The delay has understandably disappointed players eagerly awaiting the mod's release. However, many have expressed their understanding and look forward to experiencing the mod once it's ready for release.
