Will we hear about Borderlands 4 soon? Many fans think so, all thanks to a new video from Gearbox recapping the story of the first game. It looks like the beginning of a series reminding players what happened just before the developers announce the next installment.
If this plan is true, it won't be that shocking: last year, Gearbox's former employee mentioned his involvement in Borderlands 4 and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands 2 on his LinkedIn profile. He then edited the information, but the internet remembers everything.
The studio has also been looking for developers for years now, and even though job listings don't specify which games the candidates will be working on, chances are Borderlands 4 is waiting for us in the future. At the same time, there is also a movie adaptation in the works, so the announcement might not be what most people think.
Borderlands is a series of "shooter-looters" famous for its unique cartoonish style. The last part, Borderlands 3, was released in 2019, so it's high time for a new experience.
