Check out this mesmerizing Blender-made animation created by a talented artist Ryan "TrashCG" Will.
This sword evolving out of water and then crushing down like an ocean wave with white foam was created with the help of a FLIP Fluids add-on. The graphic fidelity of water flows and gradual color transitions amazingly combine with the fantasy shape. In the comments to the Reddit post, the artist shared that he spent 6 hours on the work, and the rendering took about 3 hours.
