Guns of Fury is a vintage-styled action platformer that merges elements of the run & gun and Metroidvania genres. The story is set in a future world with an energy crisis when renowned scientist Dr. Klaus mysteriously disappears after announcing the discovery of the "Tetra Cell", an energy-producing element. Industrialist A. Easton is suspected of kidnapping Dr. Klaus to misuse the Tetra Cell.
As special operative Vincent Fury, you are tasked with infiltrating Easton's facility to rescue Dr. Klaus, while navigating through Easton's private army. As you progress, you will uncover new items and abilities, earn money for new equipment, and gradually unlock new areas and tougher adversaries, including formidable bosses.
