Rockstar likely referenced Lawrence Sullivan in its new trailer.

The new trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is still on everyone's mind. While it got leaked just before the official release and stole the delightful moment from Rockstar, it still beat MrBeast's record for the most-watched non-music video on YouTube in 24 hours, gathering more than 90 million views.
The GTA 6 trailer is packed with references and familiar faces, and one of them is Lawrence Sullivan, a.k.a. Florida Joker. A person who looks extremely similar can be found in the video, although his hair is purple rather than green and the tattoos are a little different. Despite that, it's pretty obvious who Rockstar tried to depict.
Florida Joker got his fair share of attention in 2017 after his mugshot went viral. He was among those who accumulated the now 117 million views for the video and he has something to say to the developers. He posted his response on TikTok, calling out Rockstar and saying they had something to talk about.
"You know they got that character with the face tattoos, you know who they got that inspired by? By me. Just look me up, Florida Joker," he said. "GTA, we gotta talk."
Is Sullivan angry at the studio for using his image? I honestly doubt it, although he will likely use it to reignite his fame.
He's not the first to be unhappy with Rockstar: in 2013, Lindsay Lohan wanted to sue the company for using her image to create one of the characters for the poster. Her lawsuit was dismissed, however.
