3D Artist Meovvsotis presented a WIP of a captivating portrait of Sakura Kinomoto and explained the technique which creates an illusion of her eyes following the viewer.
This "warm up study" of one of the most famous Clamp and mahou shoujo characters in general shared by 3D Artist Meovvsotis immediately gained widespread attention online, capturing not only Clow Cards but viewers with a curious follow-me-eyes technique.
Almost like forced perspective in classic paintings or more like a method used in fursuit production, in this video, Sakura's eyes seem like they follow the viewer like Mona Lisa's when in reality it's the perspective and invisible dome fabricating an illusion:
